The Chester, Cheshire community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Jack Winward, a beloved son, partner, and friend, who passed away on Thursday, 15th January. His passing has left family, friends, and all who knew him deeply saddened.
Jack was a proud graduate of Tarporley High School, where he was known for his friendly nature and strong sense of loyalty to those around him. He later pursued his passion for the land and countryside at Myerscough College, where he studied Agriculture and Farms.
Jack’s commitment to his studies reflected his hardworking character and his appreciation for rural life, values that remained central to who he was. Living in Chester, Cheshire, Jack built a life surrounded by people who loved and supported him.
He was in a devoted relationship with Maizey Lilly Johnstone, and together they shared a bond filled with care, companionship, and shared dreams. Their connection was a meaningful part of Jack’s life and brought him great happiness.
Jack will be remembered for his warm heart, gentle spirit, and the genuine kindness he showed to others. He had a way of making people feel at ease and valued, whether through conversation, laughter, or simple acts of thoughtfulness. His loss is felt profoundly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The Winward family shared in a statement: “We are heartbroken to share that our Jack passed away on Thursday the 15th of January.”
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, 12th February at 12 midday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Chester, followed by a private family cremation. The family has expressed their sincere gratitude for the thoughts and prayers offered during this incredibly difficult time.
Jack Winward’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, forever cherished and never forgotten.
